GENTLE YOGA CLASSES
July/August Registration is now open for the July/August 2025 series of Gentle Yoga classes. This series will meet on six Wednesdays (7/2, 7/16, 7/23, 8/6, 8/13 and 8/20) from 11:00am-12:15pm at Om Namo Center, 93 Trapelo Rd, Belmont, MA.  Note NO class 7/9, 7/30, 8/27.
Cost for the series is $90 (includes one free class). Students may also attend individual classes ($18/class). The series may be purchased by credit card on this website or by mailed check (email Susan for address). Individual classes may be paid for in cash or by check at the class(es) attended or before.
Please bring your own mat. Classes are limited to COVID-vaccinated students. New students should plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early for their first class. Please send any questions to Susan at [email protected]. 

PRIVATE SOMATIC MOVEMENT LESSONS
​Private somatic movement lessons are available on Zoom. I now require prospective private students to complete an online introductory somatic movement class before signing up for private lessons. I find that private lessons are most effective for students who have already developed a regular practice of somatic movement but want to refine their practice to better target specific issues.  The course recommended to fulfill the prerequisite is  the Level One Course available online from the Somatic Movement Center. It is two months long and costs $45.  Find out more and register at SomaticMovementCenter.com.
Building on the basic exercises learned in Course One, private lessons add additional exercises and sequences targeted to individual students' needs. Once learned, a well-targeted exercise sequence can be done independently for sustained benefit. Home practice is essential. Those interested in taking private lessons should contact Susan by email (gentlemovementarts.com) to discuss goals and scheduling.
